The college is considered as source of administrative, economic and accounting thought in Iraq, with a history full of pioneering scientific competencies in the administrative, banking and accounting fields as one of the platforms of science in our dear Iraq. It established  in 2009-2010, the college opened with departments of financial and banking sciences, and business administration, after which the accounting department was created, and 200 students were accepted in the first year of its establishment. .

At the level of postgraduate studies, a master’s study was started in Department of Banking and Financial Sciences in 2014-2015 academic year.
