The College of Administration and Economics is a prominent academic institution in Iraq that contributes to the advancement of administrative, economic, and accounting knowledge. Throughout its history, the college has fostered distinguished academics in the fields of administration, banking, finance, and accounting. The college was established in the academic year 2009-2010. It was initially comprised of the Financial and Banking Sciences and Business Administration departments. The Department of Accounting was subsequently established. In its first academic year, the college had accepted around 200 students, and now the number has reached over 2500 freshmen in pre-graduate studies.
At the postgraduate level, a master's program in Financial and Banking Sciences was launched in the academic year 2014— 2015, marking a step towards the development of the College's postgraduate programs.
